Starting around 8:00 am PST, one of Ytel's peering partners began experiencing significant technical difficulties with their services. It does not appear to be a full outage. This peering partner is used by roughly 80% of other service providers - to some degree - within the US.

Ytel's network remains fully operational and functioning as expected. However, calls/SMS which traverse the external carrier ARE being impacted; which, in turn, affect a certain subset of our users.

We are taking steps to route around the affected entity. We continue to monitor the situation and will provide further updates as they pertain to this matter. We apologize for any inconveniences this may be causing.

The peering partner has declared this matter resolved.

The peering carrier has updated to inform that Toll-Free Messaging has been restored to an operational state. They continue to investigate the other reported matters. Ytel continues to monitor the situation and will provide updates as they are made known to us.
